Let's face it - we just can't get enough Fixer Upper content. Chip and Joanna Gaines are just a fun and sweet couple, but the work they do on homes is truly stunning as well. Since their success just keeps increasing, it's been recently announced that they're getting ready to debut again on the newly rebranded Magnolia Channel. What does this mean for us? More Fixer Upper, more DIY projects, and even more Chip and Joanna Gaines.
If you're as excited as I am about this recent
announcement, make sure to read all the details below so that you don't miss an
episode or moment.
Discovery+ and the New Magnolia
Channel
When Discovery+ first launched, everyone was
stoked. It's a great platform to catch some of your latest reality DIY shows
that everyone can dive in and enjoy.
Discovery+ has done a great job of creating a
platform that is full of creative couples, fun activities, and DIY episodes
that have us all craving that creative side even more than ever before.
However, keep in mind that Discovery+ is only home to the Magnolia Channel for
a brief period of time.

January 2022 is the official rollout date for
their very own Magnolia Network to take place. This change will also come with
an app that is accessible at no extra cost to those who are currently subscribing
to Discovery+.
What do you need to subscribe to
in the future?
All of these platforms can feel overwhelming,
especially when you're trying to keep them straight and figure out what you
want to subscribe to and spend money on.
Before deciding to pay for both or keep one
and not the other, keep in mind that there are a few differences between the
two.
Discovery+ is home to many of the favorites
that we've all come to love. Titles like Property Brothers: Forever Home, Home
Town, Love it or List It, Six Degrees with Mike Row, Chopped, and Worst Cooks
in America are all shows that are currently airing on Discovery+ and will
continue to do so.
Magnolia Network will focus on Fixer Upper:
Welcome Home, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, plus new efforts and new shows
as well. Their focus will be on telling stories and creating a streaming
platform that relates to people as well.

Both platforms will come with a charge and a
price to pay, so it's important to try and figure out if you want to pay for both,
one, or neither at all.
Keep in mind that Discovery+ and Magnolia
Network will also come with an app that will house the entire library of Fixer
Upper shows so that you can easily binge the weekend away dreaming of tearing
down things and building them back up.

Magnolia networks seem to be focused more on
creating a specific story surrounding their shows, where the Discovery+ network
has a wide variety of remodeling shows, cooking shows, and lifestyle shows.
Pin This for Later
If you're patient enough for reruns to happen,
it might be an excellent compromise to pay for Discovery+ to continue getting
the other shows that you love with a bit of Chip & Joanna Gaines sprinkled
in.
Have you subscribed to Discovery +? What do you think?
