Easy Homemade Stuffing
The Secret Revealed to Making Good Homemade Stuffing
The trick to a good classic stuffing is to use really dry bread. It's why you'll find your local bakery selling bread for stuffing in the fall. It's usually just day-old bread that's gone a little stale. You can create the same effect at home, by leaving your cut up bread chunks on the counter overnight {or for up to a few days} before finishing this recipe.

Is it really fall if you don't have stuffing at some meal?
Can you make stuffing ahead?
Yes! You'll love that you can make this recipe ahead of time so all you have to do is pop it in the oven. Prepare it as directed, cover it tightly, refrigerate and store for up to 48 hours. To bake, remove it from the fridge about 30 minutes before baking and pop it in the oven as directed. You may need to add a few minutes to the cooking time to make sure it's fully heated.
