Making your own dressing
Making your own dressing can feel a little intimating but it really is very easy. Once you try your hand at it once or twice, you'll gain more confidence and feel ready to make your own variations.
Making your own dressing will only take a few minutes and this homemade dill ranch dressing is perfect for dressing salads, dipping veggies or for a sauce for chicken bites or wings.
Some tips for making your own dill ranch dressing
You want your dill ranch dressing to be thin enough to pour smoothly, but not liquid that it's watered down. You can substitute the milk in this recipe for sour cream if you want.
If your dressing becomes thick as it sits in the fridge, you can add some milk until you reached your desired consistency.
This dressing tastes better if you make it and refrigerate it. I like it when all of the flavors have time to marinate together.
When in doubt, add more dill!
