S'Mores Snack Mix Teacher Gift with Free Printable Gift Tag

The end of the school year is coming and it's time to honor those teachers with a sweet end of the year gift. For years I volunteered on PTA, PTO and in my three kids' schools, and every year, I worked at trying to find a fun end of the year gift I could make in bulk for the teachers that had poured into my kids during the school year. The teachers appreciate the recognition and giving them a sweet treat like this S'mores snack mix will keep them going until that very last day! S'Mores Snack Mix Teacher Gift with Free Printable

This mix makes 4 gift jars, but the recipe can easily be doubled, tripled or quadrupled if your math skills can handle it! 

You will need:

2 cups of graham cracker cereal {like Golden Grahams} 

2 cups of mini marshmallows

1 cup m&m's {buy them in bulk in the school colors for extra fun!}

1 cup mini chocolate chips

4 pint-size jars with lids

Decorative paper

ribbon

printable gift tags

1.       Mix the graham cracker cereal, marshmallows, chocolate candy, and chocolate chips together in a large bowl.

2.       Scoop the snack mix into the jars.

3.       Cut a piece of decorative paper to fit on the jar top, place it on top of the round jar lid, then screw the lid ring into place.

4.       Print the printable gift tags on heavy card stock, then cut them out along the outer line.

5.       Cut a piece of decorative paper slightly larger than the gift tag. Glue the gift tag to the top of the decorative paper.

6.      Punch a hole in the corner of the tag and thread a piece of ribbon through the hole. Tie the ribbon around the jar to attach the card to the jar and secure with a bow.

Set an assembly line and a group of PTA members could whip these out for teachers in the whole school in under an hour!
