Do you ever get in a meal planning rut? I do. I start making the same 3-4 things every single week. Probably because it's easy to just do what I know, but we all get bored with it. It just never occurs to me to break away from the same old same old until I start wandering the aisles of the grocery store. Then at that point, I am overwhelmed with options! There are so many recipes on-line that if I were to stop in my tracks in the middle of the grocery store, I would be scrolling for hours. Heck, I might as well hunker down and move in. I just don't have time for that. Friends, I found a new solution. I literally just tried it in the grocery store aisles this afternoon and then came home and made a delicious new dinner everyone loved. We got out of our rut and you can too! Here's how:
Easy Meal Planning While at the Grocery Store
I was shopping at my local grocery store and noticed that the package on the Foster Farms chicken that I normally get, looked just a little bit different.
The package just made shopping easier - and more fun - with Foster Farms DORI™ it's a new interactive, on-package QR code. Foster Farms is the one of the first fresh poultry/meat companies with an on-pack QR code.
I used my smartphone camera to scan the new Foster Farms DORI™ QR code and browsed through the hundreds of original recipes. There is no need to download an app! You can also get exclusive coupons and more.
I was able to narrow it down and filter the kind of recipes I was looking for {30-Minute Weeknight Meals of course!} and then shop for the ingredients while I was in the store! It could not have been easier!
Once I got home, I scanned the Foster Farms DORI™ QR code again and pulled up the recipe on my smartphone while I was in my kitchen. Don't take my word on how easy it is, try it yourself! You can find out more about Foster Farms chicken with the DORI™ label here.
