Welcome back to another week of garage sale finds Friday.
Where I share with you my favorite garage sale finds from the week before.
Garage sale shopping has been few and far between for me this summer.
I've been a little bit busy and have been desperately missing them.
My kids actually twisted my arm into having a sale of our own last Friday,
and since I haven't mastered being in two places at once,
I didn't make it out to any garage sale but my own.
But, I did manage to get out for a few hours last Saturday and picked up a few things for my living room.
First up, is this huge vintage apple basket.
Living in the great state of Washington
{apple country}
I actually see apple baskets quite frequently, but never one this size.
For $5, I picked it up and think I might put wood in it next to our fireplace.
Never mind that our fireplace is gas.
I can't be bothered with details!
We all spent years covering up and changing out any brass in our home only to find that it's made a come back with a major vengeance this past year.
I picked up this large antique brass lantern for $5 and can't decide if I want to keep it or sell it.
Thoughts?
I love antlers
{I got all of them at garage sales over the years}
and love this wooden bowl I got to store them in for only $2.
And finally, I picked up this calf skin rug for $10.
For right now it's in front of my fireplace,
you know, the gas burning one...
but I'm not quite sure where it will end up living.
It's kind of my favorite find for like, all summer.
So those are the things I picked up.
How about you,
what did you find?
