14 years ago, my husband moved me from Indiana to the Seattle area.
The climate is quite different in the Pacific Northwest than what I grew up with and it doesn't seem to matter how many years I live here, the nine months of overcast dreary skies and rain in the forecast for months is enough to send me over the edge.
