Easy Christmas Decoration: Glass Balls in Glass Jar
I am a thrifty gal.
You can call me frugal, a miser, maybe even a penny pincher.
I call it being a good consumer, which is why I always try to be the best shopper I can be, especially around the holiday season when our credit cards are coming out to see the light of day a lot more often than normal!
I love decorating on a budget, so when I saw the howdini video on how to make a beautiful holiday arrangement with vases and ornaments, I was inspired to gather materials that I already had at home and whip up some quick and inexpensive decorations.
When I see cheap glass jars of any shape or size, I always pick them up.
I also tend to hoard plain ornaments since I think you can never have too many!
I gathered both and laid out my supplies.
It was as easy as putting ornaments in jars!
But look at the impact that it has grouped together.

That was seriously easy!
Take some time to be inspired and visit the Dollar General seasonal page for more ideas.
You are sure to find a new recipe, decorating idea or holiday craft to make your holidays bright!

I love DG! I shop there a lot. They have very good quality diapers for a very good price. I found some great toys there for my kids this year too. Super hero stuff (licensed characters)for my 5 year old and stack cup set (10 cups! - you usually only see 8) for my 19 month old.
I browsed through their holiday decor section too and bought an 8-pak of little red bows. They're for the wreath I'm decorating, but first I used four of them in my hair the other night to decorate myself for Zumba class!
Your ornament jars look great!
