It's been a little crazy around here lately.
School officially started this week, and I am playing catch up.
I haven't had a ton of time to go to garage sales lately, but I did score some sweet finds recently on a couple of quick trips.
So, let us begin another edition of Garage Sale Finds Friday, where I share with you some of my favorite garage sale finds.
First up, I got this vintage chair for $4. It's a gem.
The underside is this awesome metal base stamped with copyright 1910.
Even the caster wheels are original and awesome.
I spotted these vintage snow skis and had to have them!
Wouldn't they look great hanging on a wall?
I paid $2 for them.
And since that's a bit of a whimpy garage sale finds Friday, I thought I would share some of my favorite things at Persnickety's Awesomeness Emporium.
Last week, I covered the shop for my friend Mandi, so she could enjoy some R&R at the beach.
My daughter came along as my little helper.
Whats that? You noticed a little Tattoo sign? Yep, it's the neighbors of this awesome shop. You can pick up your favorite piece of painted goodness, then walk next door and get some ink yourself. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
It could fit a ton of people around it without feeling squished or just have a few people gathered without feeling massive.
I spent some time reading in this adorable yellow rocking chair.
It's quite comfortable and would look awesome on a front porch or in a nursery don't you think?
I've had my eye on this cool side table for weeks now.
I love the handles and the fact that the top has a ledge around it.
Oh, and the color is awesome too.
I can't begin to even think about how difficult this compass on this table was to paint.
Let's just leave that to the professionals shall we?
I don't know what it is about hens and chicks, but I love them.
I love this bunch in this vintage tool box.

Don't you love this nesting vintage suitcase table?
Such a smart way to make those vintage suitcases functional at your house.
I love this crate chest with turned legs.
Wouldn't it make a really fun cooler for outdoor parties?
This dresser is amazing!
In my own home, I'm sort of color averse, so cream always speaks to me.
The detail is so awesome.
And last but not least, I brought in this faux fireplace last week.
I found it at (where else) a garage sale for $7.
The couple had used it in their RV and had a gas insert put into it.
I immediately noticed the really cool woodwork detail, but it was an 80's oak color, so I brought it home and painted it cream.
I think it would be an awesome addition to anyone's home that didn't have a fireplace or mantel and wanted one.
I know I always love decorating my mantel for holidays.

Love it all, but specifically that chair and the fireplace... Anyone can have a mantel, even if you live in an RV!
I think watching that store would have gotten me into trouble. I kept seeing things in the back ground I wanted to look at.
We are going to our town's farmer's market tomorrow and the "antique" stores usually set up a couple of stalls. They had some really great stuff last time.
Oh my goodness! Thank you for introducing me to Persnickity. I love browsing local haunts to meander and daydream. What a great shop!
