As part of Baby Shower Week, I thought I would share with you the popcorn boxes that I made for the "She's About To POP" baby shower I recently threw for my sister in law.
Silhouette offered a popcorn box shape as part of their free download one week and I was thrilled! It couldn't have come at a better time.
As they say, great minds think alike, and Jill at Handmade by Jill was doing the same thing that I was doing! She re sized the template to make the box fit on one page and was kind enough to offer me some advice on the glue she used (elmers fine tip glue pen).
There were four parts to the box and each part had to be scored, folded and glued together at the corners and the bottom. As they dried I used my trusty clothes pins again to hold them all together. It was a lot of work but well worth it!
As I was making the box on the silhouette, I also made sure that it cut out extra circles to use in various sizes (we don't want to waste paper!) for table confetti and the dot banners.
My sister in law picked up some gourmet popcorn and scoops and we had a very festive POPcorn bar!
