I did also pick up this boat for 50 cents. It needs a good painting, but once it's all one color, I think it will be a great find.
I also picked up this small cabinet with the intention of painting it. My husband HATES it when I bring home furniture, but for $5, I couldn't pass it up.

Wouldn't this make a great little shelf for my daughter's room? I love anything that has doors so you can't see the mess! Anyway, this bad boy is going up on craigslist to find a new home because my husband is demanding that it gets out of his parking spot in the garage. I'm pretty sure, I can get at least what I paid for it from it, which is all I hope for.

Great deal on the cabinet! You could hang the window on a porch or in a garden...
If hubby wont let you keep the cabinet, I'll have it!
Yeah, the window would be ace on the porch, I wouldnt even paint it as it has this "rotten" charm. Lucky girl!
Your garage sale finds are amazing! In DC things are so expensive and I am lucky to even find anything for $100.
I found this link yesterday as an idea for your window

I thought it was neat!
Amazing finds!!! I would use the window as a frame. I would put pictures behind each panel and hang it on my wall. Love it!

Great finds! I have seen old windows used for tables.... I just recently saw a really good tutorial. If I can remember where I saw it, I will come back and tell you. :)
Wow, I bet you could get a lot more than $5.00 for that cabinet on Craig's List - maybe put it on for a higher price and you can always lower it if it doesn't sell after a few days.
I have seen people hang the windows on a wall or place on a fireplace mantle. I guess it would depend on your decorating style though.
WOW!! Now that is one sweet cabinet for $5.00!! I would have raced you for it!! LOL!!
