Welcome to another weekend edition of garage sale finds. I was excited to get out to some garage sales today. There were two neighborhood sales that were less than a mile from my house, and it's hard to miss those! I am thankful to have found exactly what I was looking for for my 4 year old, but it's a craft blog, and you don't care about that...so here's the find I am most excited about. A box full of hand picked (by me) hand made cards.
I stumbled on a garage sale run by a few crafty ladies. They were selling beautiful handmade cards for $1 a piece. There were boxes of them, so after about a half an hour, the above box are the ones I took home with me. I started counting up how many I had, but after I got past 50 I gave up. At $1 a card, I thought that was a fair deal, but the best part of garage sales is always the deal making, so I offered her $30 for the bundle, and she accepted.

Found your blog on Follow Friends Sunday and I am loving it!
It looks like you have a nack for finding stuff in yard sales. Are you ever sorry about getting something? Not because the price or because it is not nice, but rather because you cannot find the right place for it in your house? You can list all your unwanted items for sale online on www.privategaragesale.com - it's totally free. No fees, no commissions - you keep all the money.
Those are beautiful ~ you always have great finds. I'm going to have to tag along garage-saling with you one of these days! :)
